This is Dr. Ray and welcome to our site and a bit of personal history. I first published and copyrighted Relaxation Therapy (RT) in 1976, knowing relaxation training and control over the autonomic nervous system would eventually become a vital component of mental and emotional health training.
In 1980, RT was included in my Mosby/Times Mirror publications, ‘The Back School’, ‘Portable Back School’ and ’12-Steps to a Pain-Free Back’. RT was also a central component of my later publications, ‘Freedom From Stress and Back Pain’, ‘In the Zone, Making Winning Moments Your Way of Life’, ‘Teeing Off With The Masters’ and the companion audio CD, ‘Trust Your Swing’.
Relaxation Skills are one of the 4-Core Compentencies of Internal Locus of Control and In the Zone Performers, when integrated with Balance, Flexibilty and Focus. Collectively these four system components provide the foundation for my Self-Mastery Training Program, implemented in corporations, hospitals, municipalities, federal agencies (including TVA, Tennessee National Guard, Fort Bragg Womack Army Medical Center 82nd Airborne Division, Sheridan VA Regional Medical Centery, VA Portland Health Care System – Salem CBOC – VAPORHCS and most recently in the Taos VA CCBOC.
It is my privilege to now share Relaxation Therapy with you and others throughout the world, utilizing web based communication technologies. You can download RT as an MP3 file to your mobile device, smartphone, iPhone and iPad, tablet, laptop or desktop PC and Mac.
